VR (Virtual Reality) Park Shibuya
Transport yourself to another world from Tokyo!
Tokyo’s reputation as an ultra-modern, high-tech city is well deserved. If you want to try out the latest gaming technology while you’re here, head to Shibuya’s Virtual Reality Park for a truly immersive experience!
For a flat fee, visitors get 90 minutes unlimited play on all of the games, plus free soft drinks. The VR Park offers 10 different one- and two-player virtual reality attractions that you can try out. These include a mixture of more realistic simulation games, such as baseball and race car driving, as well as those based in the realm of fantasy.
Welcome to Panic Mansion sees players team up to rid a haunted house of ghosts in a Ghostbusters-style adventure, while Salomon’s Carpet is a thrilling magic carpet ride through dragon-filled deserts and caves. For a real adrenaline rush, Dive Hard VR sends players out onto a narrow scaffold at the top of a skyscraper whilst under enemy fire.
For each attraction, you wear a headset that provides 360-degree vision and sound effects. This transports you into the world of the game and gives players a completely immersive experience.
All the attractions are suitable for both new players and experienced gamers and can be enjoyed regardless of your skill level or experience.
The VR Park is fantastic fun and a great opportunity to try out virtual reality technology without breaking the bank.
Depending on how busy it is when you visit, you might not get to try out every ride. Decide in advance which ones you most want to experience and head for those first!
