Japan COVID-19 Travel Ban
Due to the coronavirus, tourists will be denied entry into Japan.
Mar. 21, 2021 Update
- Currently, all foreign nationalities are denied entry into Japan as tourists due to the coronavirus.
- Only foreigners with valid residence permits will be allowed to enter the country.
- Resident foreign nationals and Japanese nationals must test for the virus at least 72 hours before their departure to Japan and submit documentation that they tested negative for the virus. Additionally, they are asked to self-isolate at home or at a hotel for two weeks upon arrival.
