Top Readers’ Photos In Japan: September 2020

Seeing Japan from all sorts of perspectives.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, not everyone was able to travel around Japan this summer. This caused many of us foreigners living in Japan to stop and appreciate the beauty of our local surroundings.  Taking a step back and seeing our neighborhoods in a new light made for some awesome photos.

Miyajidake Shrine, located in Fukutsu city, near Fukuoka, is famous for the view on the so called “road of light”. Two times a year, in February and October, the sunset falls just in the middle of this 1km long straight road, that lead directly to the sea 🌅 Unfortunately I was there in the wrong period and in a foggy day, but the view from the top was still really beautiful ⛩ • • • #intomybackpack #miyajidakeshrine #japan #oceanlover #traveljapan #japantrip #japanjourney #japanese #gaijinpottravel #travelaroundtheworld #triparoundtheworld #journeyaroundtheworld #followmyjourney #followme #lonelyplanet #lonelyplanetjapan #discovery #natgeotravel #wanderlast #photographer #travelphotography #travelphoto #travelblogger #travel #traveltherapy #travelgrammer #traveltheworld
